Tukholman saalis - Caught in Stockholm

Käväisin viikonloppuvisiitillä Tukholmassa, ja tulihan siinä parissa lankakaupassakin käytyä. En kylläkään niitä löytänyt, joita olin etukäteen ajatellut, mutta löysin pari kauppaa ihan sattumalta vanhasta kaupungista.

I visited Stockholm last weekend and shopped in a couple of yarn shops too. I didn't find the ones I had planned though, but found other shops by accident in the old town.

Anntorps väv is located in Österlånggatan. It's a small shop but had for instance Noro and some Swedish yarn I hadn't seen before. I bought some Swedish wool yarn there (forgot the name instantly, and it didn't have a band).

Another shop called Sticka was down the same street, and it had a lovely selection of yarn, many of which can't be found here in Vaasa.

There was a beautiful selection of yarn in different colors on one wall. There were lots of customers in the shop, but the shopkeeper still had time to offer knitting advice to her customers.

Tässä saalis kokonaisuudessaan: kaksi vyyhtiä ruotsalaista villalankaa, kerä Zauberballia ja kerä Schoppelwollen Fliegende Untertasse -lankaa. Lankojen lisäksi löysin Science fiction -kaupasta kaksi kirjaa: "Yummigurumi" ja "Knitting Mochimochi", molemmat hauskoja ja höpsöjä kirjoja.

Here's the yarn and books I bought: the Swedish wool yarn, Zauberball and Fliegende Untertasse. I found a couple of books from a science fiction store: "Yummigurumi" and "Knitting Mochimochi", both funny and silly books.

Joskus toiveet toteutuu - Sometimes wishes can come true

No, täytyyhän toiveet toteuttaa, tällainen poni löytyi isänpäiväpaketista:

Just before Father's Day my mom asked my dad what he wanted. After a while he showed a picture of a pony in a newspaper, saying that a pony would be nice. Well, of course wishes have to at least sometimes come true, here's what he found in his present:

 Amigurumiponi
Malli / Pattern: Trench, Supersöpöt maskotit
Lanka / yarn: 7 veljestä
Koukku / hook: 3 mm
