Vaihteeksi jotain valmistakin. Tein poikaystävälle pipon (ystävänpäivälahja jo vähän ennakkoon), lankana Novitan Samos, puikot alussa 4½, palmikkokuviossa 5. Lankaa kului reilu kerä, eli n. 60 g. Ohje Novita kevät 2009. Oli vähän vastahakoinen pipo, purin sen alussa ainakin kolme kertaa, ja muutenkin takkusi. Mutta valmiiksi sain, ja ihan kiva siitä tuli, vähän lämpimämpien kelien pipo.
Something finished for a change. I made a hat for my boyfriend (an early Valentine's Day present), yarn Novita Samos, needles 4½ at first, in cable pattern 5. The pattern is from Novita spring 2009. It was a bit stubborn hat, did not want to cooperate. I had to start it over at least three times. But I got it finished last night, and it looks ok. It is more suitable for warmer weather.
Kävimme Vaasan kädentaitomessuilla eilen. Mukaan tarttui kaikenlaista pientä, mutta ei lankaa tällä kertaa. Paljon tuli ideoita ja innoitusta.
We visited the Arts and Crafts Fair in Vaasa yesterday. I bought something small, but not yarn this time. I got a lot of ideas and inspiration.
Tällä hetkellä on työn alla ystävänpäiväkortit. Jotain itse tehtyä niihin on tiedossa, mutta kuvia niistä myöhemmin, niin ei mene yllätykset pilalle.
I'm working on Valentine's day cards at the moment (in Finland they are also sent to good friends). I'll post pictures later, so I won't spoil any surprises.
